When we think of Sophia and Mason, we can’t help but smile—these two are the perfect match, and their fun-loving personalities shine together in the best way! From their infectious energy to their shared passion for all things retro, they exude a joy and playfulness that lights up any room. Their wedding day was no exception, overflowing with disco balls, vintage vibes, and a lot of joy and laughter! It was the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple: adventurous, full of life, and always ready to make lasting memories.
Their celebration was as unique and vibrant as their love, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!
Sophia’s wedding day look was a perfect blend of classic elegance and modern romance. Her hair was styled in a loose bun, with wisps framing her face, adding a soft, natural touch. For the ceremony, she chose to wear a veil that draped over her face, adding a touch of tradition to her walk down the aisle. Her wedding dress was one of our favorites, featuring flared smocked sleeves. Sophia transformed her look for the dance floor later that night by removing the sleeves of her dress, creating a whole new look for the celebration. Each detail of her look was carefully curated to reflect her personality and the overall vibe of her wedding day.

Mason’s wedding day look perfectly complemented his bride-to-be. He chose an olive green suit paired with a neutral tie and brown leather shoes. We are obsessed with this color of suit and thought it was the perfect choice for his special day.

The bridesmaids wore bold and vibrant dresses which was a beautiful reflection of Sophia’s style and wedding design. Sophia chose her two sisters to stand beside her on this special day – one wearing an olive green dress and one wearing a darker pink dress. We love how Sophia wasn’t afraid to embrace color, adding a dynamic and personal touch to their celebration. What made the look even more special was how the dresses featured different styles, while still feeling cohesive with the rest of the design.

Mason’s two groomsmen, his closest friends, played an important role in the day, standing by him as he married the love of his life. They wore classic charcoal suits that complemented Mason’s olive green suit perfectly, creating a cohesive look.

Sophia and Mason’s ceremony was intimate, beautiful, and intentional which represents their relationship. They opted for a circular ceremony in front of Ravenswood Mansion and ground florals which allowed for all of their guests to see, hear and feel connected to them during the ceremony.
During the ceremony, the couple invited their guests to reach out a hand to them and pray over them as they began this next stage of their life together. They also chose to take communion together while some of their friends sang a song over them. It was a beautiful moment to watch!
Then the two said “I do!” and officially became Mr. and Mrs. Covell!
Sophia and Mason’s wedding reception was nothing short of joyful, fun, and filled with colorful, creative details! As a freelance florist with Rosemary & Finch Floral Design, Sophia had a clear vision for the floral elements, and Mary Love executed it flawlessly. The tablescapes were a masterpiece, featuring vibrant and colorful florals paired with funky, playful candles. Fresh fruit was incorporated into the design, adding a unique and textural touch. Together, these elements created a tablescape that perfectly reflected Sophia and Mason’s artistic style.
Speaking of florals… can we talk about how stunning Sophia’s wedding bouquet was?! It was an absolute showstopper, overflowing with vibrant, colorful blooms!
We are also SO obsessed with Sarah Burnette Photo and the talented creative that she is!
The disco balls added a touch of playful sparkle, hanging elegantly from the tent and even making a fun statement on the seating chart!
Before the sun went down, the new Mr & Mrs got to take some fun playful photos together! They are such a sweet couple and it is evident to anyone that meets them how in love they are!
We ended the night with lots of dancing, desserts and fun memories! 04.28.24 was such a perfect day!
Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Covell! We are so grateful you let us be a part of your special day!
